Building a workshop door (by Timothy Wilmots)

Of course he's here, how could I have missed it... Timtool!

Still though.. Way to go!  [laughing]

That's a very interesting video. What a heavy door and what a work to make it. Looks like real quality. Also nice to see the holy grail of table saws in action, a Robland slider. And so much Festool around. I think there are few videos on the net with such an extensive use of Festools in it. Great to watch.

It's a strange idea Tim isn't yet on Festool's paylist. He knows the tools and he knows how to make great videos with them. And that MFT cart of him should surely be very marketable I'd think, would be a great idea for Festool to incorporate it in their line-up, if their engineers made it more durable with aluminium and molded plastic parts. The way Tim made it just out of wood looks so professional already, and with the extra wings, so customizable. Tim has all the ideas, I am sure if he'd be brainstorming together with some Festool people he'd be able to make the most ultimate modular MFT system ever.

Great vid, but I first need the one on building a shop  [big grin]. I sure am a long ways away from having the tools at my disposal to do that.

Hi Paul,

Then I'll have to direct you to Frank's shop building video in case you haven't checked it out. It's not like my shop as I had other considerations to make but this video has been learn full to me nevertheless. (even though I build my shop before this vid had been posted) Isn't it nice seeing people consider...  :)

Tim's a very talented guy.  I really enjoy watching his videos, though it is frustrating to see how easy he makes it all look.
