I'm buying a new mft3 .is it worth buying the mft3 package with the acessories.is there enough clamps etc with this .I was also going to buy the veritas mft kit .would this be enough to get started

In N America anyhow, the MFT does not come with any clamps, only the fittings for the rail and the fence are included in the package deal.

I think it makes sense to get the full package with the guide rail and the fence stuff. If you decided to purchase that stuff later it would cost more.

I don't believe that even overseas that MFT comes with any clamps. You will want some.

these from Axminster seem to get good reviews over the official Festool ones:

Some folks have also mentioned some other band that available over there that were even cheaper, but I can't find the post now. Maybe some one else will chime in.

How do you intend on using it?

Yeah it's worth buying the full monty mft3 package to exploit the full potential from it.

Get the full MFT w/ guide rail etc.

A accurate known good square square for set up

Pick up the clamping elements

Pick up a pair quick clamps.

Set of qwas dogs

Couple of flag stops

Should be a good start,

Future should have the Bessey / clamps
