what was included ? i see the systainer is old, but im not sure if the tool is any different
CarlsonCarpentry said:Yes I see it is $700 new but if it was manufactured in 2003 that’s 16 years old. Not sure what that means for this tool. I don’t know if they have updated it since or what sitting for that long does to a tool. I’m not super familiar with the used festool market.

I owned one of these while I was working. It was a well-built and solid tool. Dust collection was excellent, although it was a bit of a hassle to operate the planer and manage the hose. I had the bevel attachment so we could use it for working on doors.
It has plenty of power. I don't know if it is worth $200, other than the new one is more than three times that cost. With that said, there is a very nice Makita model that has the discharge port that could be used with dust collection. I would have to look for the model # but it's < $200. That might be a good option for you , new tool, with no concerns about the age of the 2003 model Festool .
