Can DX93 do anything the RO90 can't?

it slices, it dices and just about everything else. [/quote]

Brice - if my wife sees this - oh crap!
She is as bad with kitchen tools as I am with woodworking tools and she will want one of those DX93s!!!!!

How about RO90 vs. Fein Multimaster  [wink]

I agree with Shane, the RO90 blows the doors off a multi-tool as far sanding is concerned.  On the other hand the RO90 isn't going to do anything other than sand, the multi-tool, it slices, it dices and just about everything else.

Maybe someone with both could post a short video comparison...  [popcorn]

I had to go open my big mouth... That's a good idea and I'll see if I can shoot some video.  Don't know when I'll be able to do it, maybe over the weekend.

Shane,

I have a multi-master and I happen to know that both UPS and Fedex deliver here.   [big grin] I will go charge up the video camera just in case.

Peter, your name isn't someone now is it?? [big grin]

Not yet.  But I also don't have an RO90 yet and was trying to beg creatively!  But I couldn't even get a reaction from Shane, so I'll go unplug the video camera now.

If Festool would be so kind to send me a RO90 for evaluation purposes I'd be happy to post an in-depth video comparison of both sanders.  [wink]  [wink]

Boy, that's just what Festool needs, to compete with itself... [blink]

BTW, Peter and Alex, did you get the recent PMs I sent?

GULP, I own all 3 tools in question. Buttttttttttttttttttttt, Brice does this type of thing so welllllllllllllllll [tongue]  Anyway, plus 1 on the Fein versus Festool sander issue. I've never been that impressed with the MM as a sander, it works, but even my DX93 puts it to shame. However, neither the DX93 or the Rotex 90 will cut out grout in a bathroom and allow me to cut and regrout the whole thing in one day, with Festool providing the dust collection of course. For that, and a host of odd-ball jobs, my Fein MM gets much respect from me.  I will keep both the DX and the 90 until I see how the Delta action of the RO 90 works out. Besides, it's much easier to GET new Festools, it's much HARDER to let them go once you've got them................ [wink] [wink] [wink]

No, no more shots at you Shane.  You've been a really good sport so I'm going to cool it (for a while at least [big grin]).
