Carvex Battery

I can't find a website offering a battery for my Carvex jigsaw. I need the 18volt 4.2Ah battery that came with the jigsaw.

The only site I see it listed in is CPO Outlets, but out of stock. Maybe the batteries by themselves have not arrived yet..? I checked Tool Nut, Marinos, Rockler, Woodcraft and Amazon with no joy!

I wrote to Lee Valley about this and received a response saying that they do stock the 4.2 amp replacement battery for the Carvex even though they do not list it on the web site.  Here is a portion of Lee Valley's response:

"Although not catalogued or available on our website, we do offer the 4.2AH Li-Ion 18V Battery (product # ZA499849)"

Lee Valley does not sell Festool in the USA, but it might be worth a quick email to a US based retailer to see if they can get the batt for you---

Even if an article is not on a dealer's website, they can order it for you. Everything that's on an official Festool website can be ordered by any dealer in that country.

Before I saw the response from Tom Bellemare, I called Highland Woodworking (local to me) and they ordered the battery. I'll get it next week.
