I just want to say how much I like the new Carvex style blades -- certainly stiffer than the Trion (although not much), but these blades not only really perform well in my Trion but also in another brand jigsaw.  I have struggled on my non-Trion to get square cuts, especially in 8/4 stock but the Carvex blades have allowed me to do just that -- awesome!!!  I got perfect results in rips and cross-cuts in 8/4 Cherry, Douglas Fir and Hard Maple!!

I would love it if Festool came out with a longer "FS" Carvex -- these cuts are remarkably smooth for a Jigsaw blade and some of the slices I got off the saw rivaled what I can get off my bandsaw and a Carbide blade.  Simply amazing.

I have to agree here and I was going to start a thread on this. I was cutting out drawers for timtool's mftc and I sawed several cutouts in the drawers at once using the Carvex 105 in a Trion. 90 degrees in approx. 2inchs of ply with no problem whatsoever.

Made me love my Trion even more
