Carvex Price

I need to read this forum more often.  I just bought a new PS 300 because I thought the Carvex was a battery tool only.  Oops.  [sad] Fortunately, I haven't used it yet.  So my question...does anyone know the approximate US cost for the Carvex?  I understand it will be a guess.  I searched the forum and found some European prices.  However, it's not clear to me if they include VAT or how much the VAT would add to the price.  I hate to think about paying $500 (my guess) for a "jig saw."  However, after watching a couple of the videos, that Carvex would come in very handy for the stuff I do.

Carvex will be available in Australia in a few weeks and i dont know the exact price, but i hear its very expensive. But for some reason im so excited about this tool (battery one) i couldnt care less and are willing to pay an extra few hundred for it. Pay now, cry now, be happy for ever.

In Holland the new Carvex PS400-Plus version costs around 70 euros more then the PS300 (367-294 euros), that's 25% more expensive.
So compare that to the US version of the PS300 it will be around 1,25*310=$388 (at Tool-home.com). But that's only a simple calculation.
You can also compare the prices of other Festool stuff in europe and the USA.

My Carvex will be delivered at my home tomorrow. I cannot wait to use it.
I got it at the price of the PS300. So that's what I call good luck.

Here in Australia i think its the same price as the sim card ipad. Theirs the dilemma, I want both, but can only afford one (1k)  Arrggghhhh life is tough.

I just bought an iPad.  It's "ok."  So far, I don't see anything revolutionary about it.  Further, you can probably by a laptop for the same money (in the states anyway) which has a lot more utility.
