Carvex Shipping Delay

Does anyone have insight on the length of delay expected for the Carvex? My vendor said there was no expected ship date as of now but I see multiple sights say shipping will occur mid August.

I pre-ordered the PSC420 EBI-PLUS so I'd like to see if anyone has more info.

I'm not a rep, but I have heard from multiple vendors that early to mid-august (14/15th) is all they know on the PSC420 and any kit that comes with it in terms of delay. The place I pre-ordered the Pro Finish kit from has said that the delay is due to the packaging for the Carvex was not up to Festool standards and has to be re-done. I may be completely wrong on the reason for the delay, but just wanted to share from what I've heard

Can confirm what [mention]cuc717 [/mention]said. I pre-ordered the set with the new Carvex and TID 18 and I called my rep the other day to see what the delay is with shipping. He said he was told there’s some issue with the inserts for the systainer for the Carvex.

Trying for the same and this must be the problem in the 'kit'.  As you, I pre-ordered and just can't get a straight answer.  So bad.  Just tell us what's going on.

I am not employed by Festool and am not informed of their marketing or distribution decisions or issues, but I think that it would be logical that silence might be an indication that there are supply line issues during this whole health issue that is affecting the entire world.

That's it.

No its not, I received mine yesterday and compared the partslist of the latest model with the previous one.
The electronics module has changed, it sounds very different when starting and stopping the machine.
Two led's of the strobe light have been deleted  ???
Changes I hoped for like an improved drive train where not found
