Does anyone own the Centrotec Bitholder (65mm) withquick release collar (492648)? Will this accessory accommodate my Makita countersink drill  set--it's one of those sets that drills a pilot hole, release a lock, flip the bit and drill the screw.  The Centrotec Bitholder looks very similar but I haven't seen it stocked by local dealers.

The Festool Centrotec Bit Holder is designed to hold & grip 1/4" hex bits with either the scored shank or grooved shank, each about 3/8" up from the end.

It pops in and out of the Centrotec Chuck and sticks out about 1-1/2".

I have it in stock and in my C 12 systainer.

Yes, I use the bit-holder regularly with 1/4" quick change tooling. That use has been reduced slightly after I made my own square drive bits that work directly in the Centrotec setup since they remain unavailable from Festool. (Using instructions posted here) But the bit-holder is always at-hand to use with my countersinks and drill bits.

That is what I meant, with my drill...

Right, (duh). I dont use mine unless I'm traveling with tools. my c12 stays in my tool cab as it's climate controlled. I'll have to pick up one of those bit holders.
