Dear Festool,

I've gone into Centrotec full on.   [eek]

Beautiful quality and with the reduced run out, truly a pleasure to use.  Thanks to Festool for offering these and in the Installer Sets.

Hoping to justify the hand driver storage in the set and wishing to leave most of the screw and socket drivers behind.

I mostly use  hand drivers to torque machine screws on tools and machinery.

As you all know Festool has lots of Hex cap screws on the tools and accessories.  Early on I bought the toolie then all the corresponding drivers because of the improved feel and grip.

Now using the Centrotec Hand Driver, I wish Festool offered the 4" Centrotec driver bits in Hex head 2.5, 4, 5 and 6.

Thanks, Sam

I think this question better fits the "Wish List" part of the forum.

You could always use the BH 150 extension with standard hex bits in the CE hand driver.

Personally I don't see the hand driver as a replacement for any of my normal drivers. It's only there to complement my drill set when it might come in handy, occasionally.

But I fully sympathise with your desire to see more different centrotec bits.

Thanks Alex!

I thought about the "Wish List" topic too.  Maybe what I need are other tray options for the Installers set?  I guess you really don't save anything with the Centrotec kits  [unsure]

Anyway, you can wish all you want for Festool stuff.  I prefer to politely request from companies to try to affect change.

Cheers,  Sam

Thanks for all the comments guys!  Asking about adding new Festool products is like asking to win the Lottery.  [cool]

So I'm considering adding these  [big grin]

The 4" tips in the tray of Centrotec Installers Set has a large area underneath.  I was thinking to add the Wiha Drive-Loc handle and a few key reversible blades.

A nut driver blade in 10mm?  Maybe a few metric hex insert tips as well.

Any customized Installer Set suggestions?

Regards, Sam
