We have these in stock, but we need to verify they are actually in the warehouse. So, they are currently showing out of stock on the website.

Festool 702082 Systainer Attic Replacement Lid

There's a link to order it. Videos for replacing the lid and handle on the product page for your convenience.

Didn't know you had these and just ordered several of them  Hope they are in stock.

Ditto, ordered one for the installers kit. Thanks!

Ditto Shane...thanks for the heads-up. My order said 5-7 day wait.

Yeah, with the quick little flurry of orders we've received, I know that's more than we had in stock. And, I learned than one of them was damaged when inspected in the warehouse.

Not to worry, we get regular shipments from Festool and we already have more on order.

Thanks for the orders, all.

Edit - Adding a couple of photos we took so you can see what you're getting. The handle will need to be swapped from your original lid.

Shane

[member=37561]#Tee[/member], it shows the green latch that holds the clear door on the attic closed.

Circled in red below.

Edit - one of the photos is with that clear door open, so the latch is almost out of view. It does not come with an additional T-LOC knob, you just use the one that came with your Systainer.

I checked and FUSA doesn't have them. But, you may be able to source it from one of the Tanos dealers, as much as I'm bummed we can't get it for you.

So I picked up the centrotec set today. Is the Allen key for the countersink bit not included in the box?

There should be one in the kit, also, if you order any of the other countersink bits separately, they also come with an Allen key.

Thanks Shane.

I spoke with Woodcraft and they said they can't order custom Tanos parts. If anyone finds a way to get these in the US, please give a holler!

It looks like the Countersink pilot bit is 3.5mm? The part number 446108 doesn't pull up anything on google so it's not one of the bits currently sold separately.

No Allen key in box, but I luckily happen to have one that works.  Not sure if I'll order the 4.5 mm one or not yet.

I'm on a slippery slope and ended up also ordering the centrotec slot bits, Hook drive bit, and the stubby metric brad point bit set to add to the set to make a more complete centrotec set.  [wink]

With the attic cover and bit holders, makes for a nice overall kit!

If you want to really round out you kit take a look here. Centrotec Kit

Axminster ships to the US and the kit is not available here.

It includes the stubby metric bits, both counter sync bits, the hook drive, the centering bit.

That is a nice kit, split point bits instead of brad point, plus you get all the other stuff [member=41090]justaguy[/member] noted. £245.80 works out to $300, and my experience with their shipping to the US has been very good. And the layout fixes my earlier gripe, i.e. all the wasted space in the US kit.

Wish I hadn't already bought the US installers kit.
