Would anyone know where we can get Centrotec 1" long Robertson, not Phillips, driver bits that would fit snuggly in the bit holder that comes with the CXS drill? All I use is Robertson screws.

Any 1" long 1/4" hex driver bit works with that bit holder.

Tom

EDIT:
You do mean this one, don't you?

Tom, I tried a few that my Festool dealer had and they were not as snug and easily came out of the holder, unlike the Phillips bit that comes with the drill. Would you have a certain name brand for the 1/4" hex bits?

Not really. I've used all sorts of driver bits in mine from the cheapest junk to some pretty expensive ones.

Snappy even makes Robertson bits that fit the Centrotec chuck.

I use Wera and they're great. Dunno if you get them in the USA
I checked Wera and they are available in North America but they don't have Robertson bits.

Wera make square bits, are they different to the Robertson bits?

This isn't quite what you asked for but it might be what you want.  Atlas (Toronto) has these made (I believe) to provide Robertson bits that work in the Centrotec check on your CXS and other Festool drills.

They are very nice and avoid all the issues with using the adapter.

+1 on these. I bought several sets, they are excellent and eliminate the adapter. Highly recommended

If you want a locking 1/4" driver bit you can always use:

One thing I noticed is that actual "Robertson" branded bits don't lock into that adapter. Probably because they're painted.

The BHS 65 referenced above is really for wire-detent bits, like the typical 1" or 25mm long driver bits. It has a rare earth magnet to suck the bit in and a wire-detent mechanism to hold it in using the small reliefs in the corners of the bits. Pulling back on the collar releases the wire but the bit is still pretty well stuck to the magnet.

The Robertson branded bits I know of are ball detent bits and are longer. Though the BHS 65 holds them, it doesn't have the ability to lock them in.

I have the C15, but I believe it's the same bit holder. I have Bosch #2 robertson bits that fit well and snug in the adapter. I also have some robertson centrotec bits that were from Ultimate Tools, but might be the same ones as coming from Atlas.

Mr. Tom Bellemare, the "Robertson" company does make 1" wire detent driver bits. I just can't get them to stay inside the BHS 65 so I issued a warning.

Just to be clear, are you saying that you have tested the Lee Valley bits and they don't fit (to your liking) or are you saying that you expect most 1" bits won't fit snuggly and you just used these as an example?

The Robertson brand bits Lee Valley sells all fit snug and to my liking, however they do not lock into the BHS 65 bit holder (I've tested a couple).

Other wire and even ball detent bits lock into this bit holder, it's just these painted Robertson brand ones don't. You can also slide the Robertson brand bits effortlessly into the BHS 65 bit holder without pulling back the collar. Meanwhile I can't do the same with other bits.

I hope that clears the air here. :)

*EDIT* I just tested my Robertson ball detent bits and they don't lock in this bit holder either, but my Vermont American ones do. There's just something different about "Robertson" bits.

That's interesting, Randy. None of my ball detent bits lock in and all of my wire detent bits do lock in.

It's also interesting that Robertson makes wire detent bits. 'Learn something new every day, thanks...
