Cheaper alternative to anti-static 36MM hose?

[member=16804]mbs[/member] Unforunately you missed the boat, the Festool hoses were available when he posted.  They were both 50% off list price.  The AS hose has been superseded with a newer hose earlier this year so retailers slashed the prices and unloaded them.  To my knowledge the non-AS hose wasn’t superseded, so maybe that was a pricing error that was corrected?

I appreciate you responding to the thread but when I follow the links I don't see the prices you're quoting.  The links show full pricing.
You snooze, you loose... I tried to give you two opportunities. Make that three.

I looked at your first post when you posted it and the only hose available was the 50mm which I wasn't interested in.  I missed hte second post.

thanks,
First post had them all...

You can do the Bosch hose as you showed above, but also include the part number I gave you. I have the Bosch and use it almost daily.

Edit: The same store has two websites. They have a 5m hose for $102. Just buy that one and be done.https://festools-online.com/festool-sales-closeouts/452884-festool-hose-d36x5m-as-ct.htmlhttps://beavertools.com/452884-festool-hose-d36x5m-as-ct.html

I guess I was looking at the wrong website but I followed the link.  Hmmm.  That hose will work!  Thanks Peter.

Search Amazon for "cen-tec vacuum hose"  I love those hoses they are cheap and offer multiple ends that fit everything.  They are cheap enough I dont feel guilty cutting them up into shorter dedicated hoses.  Ive had some for 10 years and they are still working great.  The only issue I had is the ribs can catch on edges depending on what you are using it for but I bought some PET Expandable Braided Sleeving and heat shrink tube = problem solved.
