It turns out that I have at least one 'lost' First Aid Systainer that I need to make good on, and possibly a second one. Since I only held ONE back for such a case, I am going to need to do an 'emergency' run to make sure everyone who paid for a First Aid Systainer gets one.

The shortest run I can do affordably is ten - which works out well since that's also the number of Systainers and latches I could get. (They're already on their way) I am reserving THREE of these for people who have already paid, so that leaves only seven available. Sorry, I can't add any more to the run due to availability issues on the Systainers and latches.

I happen to think a First Aid Systainer would make a GREAT Christmas present, so here's the good news:

If you order one I will GUARANTEE delivery by December 24th - barring 'acts of God' and FedEx disasters that are out of my control.

I wouldn't want to spoil anyone's Christmas by making a promise that I can't keep, so even if I end up back in the hospital I've got a plan to make sure that this happens. But to keep my promise, please note the following caveats:

• Your kit will contain everything that the second run contained. No additions or deletions - except the fudge!  [big grin]

• The biggest unknown for this final batch is the screen printing. It's possible that I will ultimately have to ship them WITHOUT the systainers having the 'First Aid' words printed on the sides. At present I *THINK* I will be able to get them printed, but there is a very real possibility that I won't. Make sure you're OK with that before you tell me that you want one, OK?

• The T-LOC latches will be red with a white cross on them - just like the first two batches - but if the screening can't get done in time, the T-LOC latches will end up being 3d-printed rather then screened. I don't anticipate that this will be a problem, but it hasn't been tested in the field by you guys yet. I am probably going to order the 3d-printed latches just to be safe. If you have a preference as to screen printed or 3d-printed on your First Aid Systainer, let me know?

But most important:

I am prepared - if necessary - to ship overnight so that you get it by Christmas. Obviously I will avoid this if at all possible due to the added cost.

And - in the spirit of the season - your package will contain some of Mr. And Mrs. WOW's homemade fudge.

Make it a SAFE and Merry Christmas!

Edit: I *HAVE TO* do this final run, but I don't want to have any of these left on Christmas day so I am lowering the price to $400 including shipping to the lower 48, and $425 including shipping to AK, HI, and CANADA.

And they'll *still* include the fudge!

[wink]

Boy Wayne!!  You ARE a glutton for punishment, eh? [scared] [big grin]

P.S.  I just went back through my recently delivered First Aid Kit...and I don't see no fudge!! [mad]

Don't overdo it and end up back in the hospital dude.

Cheers,

Frank

Said in my best John Pinette comedic fake Chinese voice - "No fudge for you! You go now..."

WOW - Whats the cost again--?

DOH! Putting the costs in the post would have been helpful, huh?

Wayne,

Do you ship to Canada

Dave
Absolutely, but due to having to clear customs, I can't promise Christmas delivery to CANADA. I'll be happy to ship it as a Christmas Gift and do what I can to get it there anyway.

Ha ha I said there would be a third run ....take it easy Wayne

You were right, but only because I had more than one go missing. People trusted me with their hard-earned money, and I take that very seriously. I am doing this primarily to honor my commitment, but the added benefit is the availability of a few more kits...

Just in time for Christmas!

I realise that Wayne ,was just joking ..

Understood. I got the joke - I just wanted to make sure that people know 'how I roll'...

Sys-roll!

[big grin] [thumbs up]

Wayne, I have 3 of them now, no way are you going to get me pulled into this one, but how much is the fudge????

The fudge, of course, is...

well, for some reason the forum won't let me type in a word that means 'price' and 'less' together. Hopefully you get the idea?

[wink]

Wayne, I don't want to speak for the others on the list but my thoughts are that I would prefer to have the latch and Systainer screen printed as the originals were and am willing to wait.  I am in no rush to get mine by Christmas though.  Others may have different needs.

I was sorry that I'd missed out before . . .

. . . didn't think I'd get another opportunity.

Please add me to the list

The way to get 'on the list' at this point is to let me know - as you did - and then submit payment. Because this is an 'emergency' run I need payment ASAP. I assume you want only one, but you aren't limited to that.

Send your PayPal payment as a GIFT (sometimes called payment to family and friends) to 'me@usmac.net'. Amount due is $400 if you live in the USA, or $425 if you reside in Alaska, Hawaii, or Canada. Then be sure to PM or email the following information, since PayPal won't provide it:

VERY IMPORTANT - Whether this is a Christmas gift, i.e. do you NEED it by Christmas? If you don't then I can pretty much guarantee that you will get one that is screen printed.  Also, if you identify that it will be a gift I will be careful when posting here so I don't ruin the surprise for anyone.

• Your FOG user name so I know who you are
• Your full street address (no PO Boxes)
• Whether this is a Business or Residential address
• Your phone number (in case FedEx needs it for delivery purposes)
• Your email (if you want tracking updates)

Contact me at that same email address if you have any questions, as I will usually respond a little faster to an email than a PM. But I'm pretty good about PM's as well.

Thanks!

Your preference is noted, and I believe I can accommodate that. Thanks!

A note to those who might want one as a Christmas gift for someone other than themselves:

As you may have figured out if you read through previous threads, these ship in a 'plain brown box' with only a shipping label on them. There is nothing that identifies what they are on the outside of the box.

And unless something unusual happens along the way, you can simply wrap the shipping box in Christmas paper and put it under the tree - no extra work on your part.

And if it's for yourself, you can STILL wrap it and put it under the tree.

First, [welcome] to the FOG!

Fun tidbit that I want to share:

Over the course of the First Aid Systainer project I have had 3 people tell me that they were lurker's on the FOG, but had made their first posts due to the First Aid Systainer.

How cool is that?!

[big grin]

Hi Wow!

Do you ship to Norway? I have been thinking of getting a first aid kit, but I wasn't able to find a suitable kit here in Norway.

Also, I don't need it before christmas.
