It turns out that I have at least one 'lost' First Aid Systainer that I need to make good on, and possibly a second one. Since I only held ONE back for such a case, I am going to need to do an 'emergency' run to make sure everyone who paid for a First Aid Systainer gets one.
The shortest run I can do affordably is ten - which works out well since that's also the number of Systainers and latches I could get. (They're already on their way) I am reserving THREE of these for people who have already paid, so that leaves only seven available. Sorry, I can't add any more to the run due to availability issues on the Systainers and latches.
I happen to think a First Aid Systainer would make a GREAT Christmas present, so here's the good news:
If you order one I will GUARANTEE delivery by December 24th - barring 'acts of God' and FedEx disasters that are out of my control.
I wouldn't want to spoil anyone's Christmas by making a promise that I can't keep, so even if I end up back in the hospital I've got a plan to make sure that this happens. But to keep my promise, please note the following caveats:
• Your kit will contain everything that the second run contained. No additions or deletions - except the fudge! [big grin]
• The biggest unknown for this final batch is the screen printing. It's possible that I will ultimately have to ship them WITHOUT the systainers having the 'First Aid' words printed on the sides. At present I *THINK* I will be able to get them printed, but there is a very real possibility that I won't. Make sure you're OK with that before you tell me that you want one, OK?
• The T-LOC latches will be red with a white cross on them - just like the first two batches - but if the screening can't get done in time, the T-LOC latches will end up being 3d-printed rather then screened. I don't anticipate that this will be a problem, but it hasn't been tested in the field by you guys yet. I am probably going to order the 3d-printed latches just to be safe. If you have a preference as to screen printed or 3d-printed on your First Aid Systainer, let me know?
But most important:
I am prepared - if necessary - to ship overnight so that you get it by Christmas. Obviously I will avoid this if at all possible due to the added cost.
And - in the spirit of the season - your package will contain some of Mr. And Mrs. WOW's homemade fudge.
Make it a SAFE and Merry Christmas!
Edit: I *HAVE TO* do this final run, but I don't want to have any of these left on Christmas day so I am lowering the price to $400 including shipping to the lower 48, and $425 including shipping to AK, HI, and CANADA.
And they'll *still* include the fudge!
