is just the tape available to replace the black tape with the clear?

those that have the clear over the black  is it that much better?  i would think so, just checking.  thanks

The new clear tape is much firmer then the older version. Also gives you more contrast with your pencil or knife marks compared to the black tape.

The clear tape also does not leave the gooey reside which is left behind by the black tape.

Last but not least, the clear tape comes in a 5 meter roll and although it is more expensive it is better value IMO

After coming back from training class I ordered the new clear strips although I had just recently replaced the black with black.  The clear strips are stiffer and I personally think that the adhesive is better.  I have had the issue with the saw blade leaving black marks on cuts edges right after the black strips were replaced.  Not so with the clear.

I'm much happier.

All my guide rails have the black tape but when my new 3m rail came home it had the clear tape.  At first i thought, i don't like it but the stiffness helps & it is definitely easier to line up with pencil marks.  All my other rails could do with new tape soon & i will be using the clear tape.
