Hi
I realise this question is for non USA residents, and specifically for those with a CMS ts55/75 saw insert module.....
Is there a way to fit a zero clearance insert into the CMS GE TS 55 module?
I ask because I was trimming some rather small pieces down and notice they were getting caught on the lip edge behind the riving knife and possibly also getting trapped down between the opening gullet of the table module and saw blade.
I figure if I make some sort of zero clearance insert it will prevent that. I'm not sure if there is one available or if not the best way to go about it?
I had thought of simply placing a thin piece of mdf over the bed of the saw table and bringing up the saw through it to get a tight cut zero clearance. But how would the riving knife come through?
Would I need to remove it and cut a slit away to fit the riving knife and then replace the sheet back onto of the saw table in place again?
Is there a better way?
Thanks
