I have a new tool purchased to help me in building a dresser/changing table and after the first use, I am totally sold on the CMT flexible templates.  This was a much easier and less time consuming effort than using my 19+ foot shop made router trammel.  Attached is a video of the review.

Review of CMT Flexible Template

Nice review.  We are getting these in soon (branded differently, I believe), and I already have lots of ideas for them in my own shop.

I've been looking at these.  Now wish I would have had them for the project I am building now.

Interesting.... Are these the only size options? I know that there are other brands with up to 5000mm (5m) length.

To my knowledge, those 3 are it.

There are 2 at about 18mm x 18mm xsection and 1 of them is a meter and the other is 2 meters long. Then there is a skinny one that is about 12mm x 12mm xsection and 1.2 meters long.

It looks like they use the same manufacturer and offer 2 extra sizes. They appear to be identical other than color.

The first seller on the list that came up when I Googled "kurvenlinfix" had slightly higher prices.

Good review Steve.  I got one of those a while back when Laguna (I think it was) was selling them.  I've used it a few times just by eyeballing the shape, but starting from a CAD printout is a great idea.

I've had a set for a few years now and they work great. First time I remember seeing them was about 8 years ago from Felder.

It is interesting that these have been out for so long and somehow flew far below my radar.  I guess the manufacturers have plenty of sales to be able to survive and do a horrible job of marketing the product.

I've been looking at them for a few years now. Set getting them aside when I figured out I can use my guide rails for trammels. Now that I know thy work, I'll be ordering at least one, have an arch to cut next week.
