Found this interesting video on YT by Marius Hornberger of some cam style clamps he made to use with on his CNC table, but I was thinking the post size would be easily changed to work on the MFT. There is a link to a template to make your own below the video on YT, so best to jump over there and view it.

Like the spirit of Marius. Bummer though that his dog holes could have been much more accurate since he already has a cnc to do the cutting. Any way thumbs up.

I made myself a pair of clamps using Marius's template and adapted them to use on the MFT. I added a M8 x 30 Low Head Socket Cap Screw from McMaster-Carr (# 7984A2) and used a pair of Richards Rip Dogs which I screwed to the clamps. This gave me the perfect size post to insert into the MFT's 20mm holes. Marius used a piece of tubing on his clamps but I didn't have any thing with a 20 mm OD so I used the Rip Dogs.

The counterbores for the head of the screw is .500" x 6mm deep and on the underside for the Rip Dog is 25mm x 6mm deep.

Here is a very short video of the clamp in action and also a couple photos showing how I put them together.
