configuring MFT to serve as outfeed sawstop

I received a Pro cabinet sawstop for Christmas.  My wood shop space is very limited--single car garage.  I have been considering exchanging the sawstop for a Festool system or possibly just replacing my 4x8' shop assembly/outfeed table with a MFT if I can figure out how to configure it to also work as an outfeed table for the sawstop.  I'd love to have both the Sawstop and Festool systems and space is more the issue for than $.  The MFT is 1 7/16" taller than the Sawstop.  Have some of you figured out the best way to raise the saw or lower the table?  Thanks.

I have the same setup.  My shop needs to be completely mobile.  I had the Saw Stop mobile base but really did not like it.  It worked well but left me with a lot of useless space under the saw (I have the 52" fence).  I traded the base in for an HTC base and I build storage under the right wing.  The base lifted the saw considerably but it was still about 1/2" low.  I lifted the saw and just dropped in a piece of 1/2" ply.  DONE!  The saw is less than 1/8" higher than the MFT.  Instant outfeed!

Make a cabinet that the mft sits on and make it to the exact height you need. Checkout all the versions on the festool jigs and toll enhancements section of this forum.

Thanks for the input guys.  I ended up putting 2 pieces of 3/4" plywood into the mobile base and setting the saw cabinet on top of it.  Seems to be a good solution.
