Connect 2.5" & 1.5" dust ports on Dewalt table saw to CT 36?

Hi folks, first post to FOG. I've read some great threads here so I'm hoping someone can help me with my current problem of what connectors I need to link up the dust ports on a Dewalt DWE7491RS jobsite saw to a CT 36 E.

The saw has two dust ports and I guess ideally I'd like to extract from both:
- 2.5" (2.58"?) main port on the saw
- 1.5" on the blade guard assembly

I was thinking to add a y-splitter at the dust extractor (https://festools-online.com/festool-y-piece-w-blanking-plug-ct.html), run its 27mm hose to the blade guard assembly (it fits ok if you jam it in, or maybe there is a proper connector available for this), then buy a 36mm AS hose (probably in the 497700 Tradesman set), and connect that using some kind of reducer connector from the 2.5" dust port.

I'm unclear on what adapters to get to link up the locking ends of the Festool hoses to the Dewalt dust ports so any guidance here would be much appreciated.

Can you post a photo of the bottom dust port on the DeWalt saw.

A Fernco fitting should do the job. You'll find them in the plumbing
section at your local hardware store or HD or Lowes. Look at ones
made for 2" IP(Iron Pipe) or 2" CI(Cast Iron) pipe, they should fit.
They are not AS though but I doubt any part of that saw is so it
shouldn't make a difference.

Attaching a stock photo of the dust port - I can take one with a tape measure tomorrow.

Nice! Agree it's a great saw for what it is, esp the fence. I found mine on sale at Lowe's and added two Freud blades and an aftermarket miter gauge as those seemed to be the common complaints in the reviews. Only used it a little but so far so good.

Anyway I took a closer look at my 27mm hose and the end that attaches to the CT inlet (58mm OD) also fits nicely inside the 2.5" port on the saw. It's a solid fit, not crazy snug but it should work. And the standard locking tool end does fit fine going directly into the blade guard assembly. That looks like a better solution, and it's always nice not to have to keep track of and deal with extra bits such as an adapter fitting as I suggested. What I suggested will work, but if the hose plugs right in that seems much better and one I would prefer. I don't like having to make adapters, but sometimes it's necessary.

[member=4105]tjbnwi[/member] had a photo of how he connected his to a CT.I think he just improvised and used a new paint roller shoved into the dust post of his DeFault and connected his CT hose to the other end of it. I used some after market adapters to connect my old delta bench top planer to my CT. Did ok but the CT couldnt keep up. Im pretty sure it can keep up with the saw.

You might be able to find some aftermarket adapters that would work  for ya
