That got a chuckle outta me.Peter Halle said:As a moderator I have removed the poll. I will go looking for the recent thread that mentioned the differences, but until I can find it the biggest difference is that the "R" version is not available in North America yet.
I will post link here to the thread, so check back.

Flat housing for flush-cutting
With a flat housing offset to ½”, you’ll make straight cuts perfectly parallel to any edge, further increasing your range of applications with the TS 55 REQ.
Easy-to-read, dual-depth scale
The large, readable scale indicates depth setting, for cuts on or off the guide rail. Included in the kit is also a self-adhering Imperial scale.
Micro-adjustable depth control
An integrated micro-adjust knob enables precise depth adjustment, so the depth of cut can be fine tuned.
Better dust control
The dust channel has an improved design that further enhances dust extraction efficiency.
Greater bevel range
This saw has positive stops at 0 and 45 degrees plus a detent-override that extends the bevel range from -1 to 47 degrees.
Improved Riving Knife
The riving knife now emerges before the saw blade for easier positioning in existing cuts lines.
Streamlined Splinterguard
The splinter guard also has an improved design.

Richard,
All existing accessories that work with the TS 55 EQ will work with the new TS 55 REQ, including the parallel guides.
