I have a Oneida 2hp gorilla that I’m moving in to a different shop. I converting a RV garage to a shop. It’s 14’ x 39’x 16’ high. I’m not 100% sure where I what it located but I narrowed it down to one area.
Has anyone done this or have input ?
Any info would be much appreciated
Thanks
Rick

I used my 2hp Oneida Gorilla as a mobile for a little over two years. Mine was set up on the four legged stand and I mounted that atop a pallet that I used a pallet jack to move around. It needed  bracing attached to the pallet to sturdy it up as there is a fair bit of movement when on that stand. I used it in this fashion after moving into a new shop while I was trying to ensure my large tools were optimizingly positioned. I finally got tired of moving the collection hose between machines and am currently in the process of hard piping a collection system for the shop. I mounted my Gorilla as high as possible on a side wall and am running the lines across the ceiling. My shop area is about 40’ by 27’ with 12’ high ceilings.

Thank you Clint for your reply. I’ll probably mount it to the wall eventually.  Did you find the size of the pallet stable since it’s kinda top heavy?
Rick.

Once I fastened diagonal braces from the pallet to the stand it was pretty stable. I had fastened some 1/2” OSB to the face of the pallet before mounting the Gorilla, which probably stiffened it as well.

I just converted my standing dust gorilla to a wall mount. If you want the stand, I’d send it to you for the cost of shipping. One of the reasons I took it out of the stand is that, at least for this older model gorilla, the opening between the legs was obnoxiously close to the size of the dust bin and lid. This stand is for the 30 (35?) gallon bin.

Oneida offers several systems that are available with mobile mounts.  Have you queried Oneida to see if they have a mobile mount that you can retrofit?  That would be my starting point.

Thanks for the offers and ideas. Much appreciated.
I bit the bull it and hung it on the wall in the corner by the roof up door.
Rick.

I also have mine in an RV garage. I mounted it up high so I could use the floor space below.
