I needed a new lunch box, mine was looking ratty. It Came in the picture at the perfect time!it does the job and looks cool too!

I have a lot of Festool stuff.  All of it impeccably designed.  Every detail considered.  So why on earth would they make a systainer cooler (a nice idea) in black?  Mr Sun will not be kind to this.  Quite counter productive.   

Festool could have put it in the light grey systainer, but then all you'd have is a light grey cooltainer. Because they've put it in a limited edition black one, you can buy a normal sys4 (or use one you already have), swap the foam sections over and what do you have then? A light grey cooltainer. AND a limited edition black sys4, which will be worth a lot of money in the future.

You think people are going to give more for a black systainer because it says "Festool" on it? You can just order a black Systainer at Tanos if you want one. That is... if you can find a dealer  :-X

It would have to be a Mini-SYS4 or Mini-SYS5 (fairly tall) so it could hold a sandwich or two, some fruit, a couple of beverages, etc.

Of course it should also have Festool thermos for keeping something hot/cold depending on the season? Hot buttered rum comes to mind...

totally! gotta have lunch in style lol. figured at least of these tradesmans are on the go so a lunch box is more useful than a beverage sys.

You'd think that as clever as the Festool engineers are, they'd have figured out how to put a mini-compressor in a Sys3-5 to power a small cooling coil to keep your lunch cool and fresh as well as to provide compressed air for your pin nailer.
