I know there is not a lot of people on here that have a cs70 but going to ask anyway.
The blade guards dust extraction sucks(actually it does not suck enough). Anybody experience quite a bit of blowout towards yourself?
I see the whole cover is closed on the inside except a small opening at the front. I am tempted to dremel the vacuum channel open.

I have the CS70 and ctl 26, I have not used it a lot yet, but I think the dust collection so far is good. After some cutting trough 1 inch thickness of wood, only a few grains of sawdust was on the sawtable pluss a little on the floor under the saw.

BTW the clean cut that this saw produces is awesome!

Thanks. Will test it on some MDF today. I suspect that ripping hardwood produces bigger slivers than dust which is more difficult to collect.

Hi.  I've been using the CS70 now for almost a year and the dust collection has been great.  Literally almost nothing left on the table-top except a few isolated particles.  I'm sorry you're not having the same experience.

Thanks Guys. Have partially solved the problem. Seems like I got a hole in my dust extractor bag causing the filters to get blocked reducing the suction.  [embarassed]

i bought the cs50 last week and didn't know that you have to use a ctl and i only have a midi for the double hose
