CT 15 Hose Garage?

I've just bought a Festool CT 15 dust extractor, and its hose is supposed to be tied onto the top with an included bungee cord. I like the idea of the hose garage available for larger dust extractors.

I saw a YouTube video ( ) in which the guy says that the Festool Midi hose garage (part #204717) fits my CT 15 dust extractor.

I just called Festool, and they deny that the Midi's hose garage will fit my CT 15.

If anybody can shed some light on this topic, please do. I will greatly appreciate it.

I just bought the following item from ToolNut: Festool 204717 Hose Garage for Bluetooth CT MINI I / MIDI I / CT 15 Dust Extractors

The ToolNut website states the following: Replacement hose garage for Festool CT MINI I, CT MIDI I and CT 15 dust extractors. Only compatible with the circa 2020 version of the CT MINI I and CT MIDI I with integrated Bluetooth support. Note: If you use this hose garage with the CT 15, there will be gaps where the filter cleaning lever should be since the CT 15 does not have this feature.
Apparantly,"there will be gaps where the filter cleaning lever should be since the CT 15 does not have this feature," has no impact on the functionality of the machine.

I also just found another YouTube video in which the guy installs the hose garage onto the CT 15. Here it is:

I ordered the "Festool 204717 Hose Garage for Bluetooth CT MINI I / MIDI I / CT 15 Dust Extractors" and it works great on my CT15. Confirm there are gaps where the cleaning filter lever would be. I actually store some shop remote controls in that pocket. I also purchased the "Festool 203722 Updated Cord Wrap for CT Dust Extractors" as a mod.

Hi Cheese,

Revisit the first YouTube video in this thread, and look for the time 5:03 minutes of that video. That's where the guy says that the MIDI's hose garage fits the CT 15. Thanks for your interest.

Thanks doozer_diy for confirming that the MIDI's hose garage fits the CT 15. I'm going to look into the Festool 203722 Updated Cord Wrap for CT Dust Extractors as well. Thanks again!

Engineers can be a bit pedantic about things like this. A regular guy will tell you it works, but they will say it doesn't fit "properly" because it wasn't designed for it.

That's like when people were swapping in the 150 pad on their ETS EC 125 - FT was saying that it wouldn't work because of balance issues. But yet, it did!

I like the hose garage on my MIDI, but once I started setting Systainers on it - and now the CT-VA-20, that hose garage is just empty. But I think the utility of the HG is for the Systainers.
