CT 26 Price

I read somewhere (maybe this site even) that CT 26 pricing was supposed to be released by now.  Is it out?  I need a new vacuum and am trying, like many probably, to decide if I should wait or buy the tried and proven CT 22.

Good news and bad news.  The bad news is that pricing has not been released yet.  The good news is that it should be released to dealers today, tomorrow at the latest.  I'm sure it will be posted to the forum within moments of it's release to dealers.  [smile]

Very well-priced it seems to me, cheaper than the ct 22 and 33 when you factor in the hose garage that is included on the new models.

I noticed recently, while checking the manual, that the automatic switching extra powersocket wasn't available for the 110V version. This suggests that the non-switching version would be available  (for the 110V UK version). It's a pity that one won't be available in the US, I find it very usefull.

I'm guessing it's a current thing.

Everything is insulated to at least 600V but you'd be adding more current in the lower voltage versions and the conductors probably can't take the addition properly.

No, there are no plans to discount the current model.  Availability of the CT 22/33 is expected to taper off quickly.  If you're thinking of getting one, I would recommend you do it soon or be prepared to wait for the intro of the new models.  Your best opportunity to save is to buy it as a package with a tool, especially with the current TS 10% off promo if you don't already have a plunge saw.

Sometimes I feel that us here in the states are kind of like that step-child that no one really likes that much.

That was one thing I was really looking forward to.

I look like a hill billy with a 3-way plugged into a $550.00 Vac. [sad]
