I have a CT33 with the boom arm attachment. I am purchasing a CT48 and would like to move the boom arm from the CT33 to the CT48. It looks like I will have to buy the CT48 Boom Arm bracket. Am I right on this or do I need to buy the boom arm set again to get all of the parts.

All of the CT's 26/36/48 use that bracket.

It goes where the cord wrap would have mounted.

Can you please show us an image of your set up showing the back of the CT?

Tom

Sorry, I am completely unable to post pictures. I have read the section on how to do it and still confused.

I just put one together 2 days ago and it did not have that bracket.

Are you saying that you successfully installed a Boom Arm on a CT26/36/48 without having to use the required bracket that Tom has mentioned?  Or, did you install it on an older CT22/33 instead?  Or lastly, did you fail to get it installed?  We would only need to see a photo if you were successful installing the Boom Arm on the newer extractors without said bracket.

The instructions were confusing, I had to call Customer Support for advice and I thought I sucessfully installed a boom arm on a 2 year old CT 26 without that bracket which was not provided but it seems like it needs more support up higher on the vertical tubing like this bracket would provide.
