Okay if this have been covered, I appoagize please direct me to the appropriate link.

I will attempt not to ramble and just list the facts and let the pictures do most of the talking.

My set up
CT36 AC
Standard length ultimate dust deputy hose
Ultimate dust deputy
11 1/2 foot 36 mm hose

Pic one the mess left using carvex
Pic two the mess on my Kapex
Pic three inside the bag

Okay so I used a Pyle air meter
And only got 28.5 cfm and 29mph velocity when I tested it.
I used the radius of 36 mm covered to feet 0.059xpi^2 for an area factor of 0.011

Now I will say I did use the system for drywall once, and I used the bag thinking the dd would do its job, so maybe my whole problem is the dirty bag?.... It doesn't look too bad imo.... Thanks in advance for any help!!!

Did the vac work well before for the same uses?

What is the pink dust on the Kapex? It looks like it might be foam or something?

Suction turned all the way up?

Try the vac without the DD in order to rule out any problem in that portion.

Also try with a clean bag.

Process of elimination to narrow down where the problem lies.

Regarding your situation I would politely off the folioing:

1.  Dust collection with the Carvex is no where near what you would get with another tool.  Jig saws deposit duct both above and below the wood surface.

2.  I know this from experience - Kapex dust collection can vary greatly based on cutting style.  I personally am a quick cutter and have more chips and stuff on my Kapex than most, but I relish the fact that I don't have the floating dust landing on everything else in my house.

3.  For the Kapex a shorter hose will help.

4.  Thru my personal experiences drywall dust will log the pores of the bag and reduce the suction.  You might want to throw a new bag in and try it.

Garage is in a bit off disarray ... Getting a bandsaw tomorrow, had to make room  [big grin]
The suction is all the way up
As far as working before, hadn't really used but for a few cuts with my ts75... Most of my setup is on the newer unused side, the drywall job was really its first I guess. And just got the kapex a few months ago.
I tested the cfm at the CT port (recalibrating for 57mm) I GOT 130 CFM.
The pink stuff is plastic. I turn pens.
So it's my dd set up?

Your install appears correct as long as you have no leaks on the DD. The rating on the CT is 137cfm so it appears that it is working fine however you should check the flow at the end of the hose at the saw. In most cases a short hose to the saw is an improvement.

Plastic sawdust is extremely difficult to capture as it electrostatically sticks to everything.

Maybe a clog in one of the hoses? If you are getting 130 at the CT port and 28 at the other end , then it must be something in between.

I'll work my way up the chain trouble shooting, thanks for the tips guys, I really appreciate it!!!

I have a CT Mini with a UDD and get plenty of suction so there is nothing wrong with using a cyclone as long as you don't have any air leaks.

I agree with Seth as the times I have run into suction issues it has always turned out to be a clogged hose.

Good luck.
