i received my ctl 26 E on Friday and had a chance to do some comparisons and enhancements. the first thing i noticed was the handle bracket is all metal this is a huge improvement on the old system no more
week spot or load limit [big grin] next is the rear wheels are now some kind of vulcanized rubber nice and quite also the locking mechanism that allways
seemed to click when they got warn is no more now front mounted.the best improvement has to be the self collapsing bag and  hepa fillter i like this because we do so much sanding the bag gets clogged quickly and now i don't need to pack around the Oneida cyclone that prevented this before now it can stay on the ct33 dedicated to the shop sanding area.

next was the cord bracket on the old system it came in pieces now all in one this allows you to move it to the side like this. i did this because its conflicted with the accessory holder and for me was allways a battle to wrap and unwrap this i prefer .next was the tool holder great location and very strong. the ctl's also come with hose garage at no extra charge [eek]

as you can see when you move the cord holder to the side you can now keep the wands handy.

next you can see that i put an accessory bracket on the front just above the brake this is much more excessable

the hose port has been moved to the middle alowing  you to pull it
by the hose in a straight line unlike before which allways pulled to the side and now when you use a wye the hose's are on each side of the vac. this unit move around
so smoothly you wont beleive it they have really improved the wheels

here's how i added the accesory holder to the front

i did use the old hose holder on the new ctl you have to bend down
the screw tab so it stays out of the way of the systainers

Very clever modifications. [thumbs up]  Just so everyone knows, there isn't mounting holes to move the cord bracket to the side or to mount the accessory bracket in the front.  These are mods counterfix did himself.

yes you have to drill your own holes also on the hose garage use some plywood blocks to backup the plastic or else there can be problems with the weight
