This is a perfect example of what a motivated carpenter, a framing square and a ts75 can accomplish in an afternoon.  [big grin]

Only because you was surprised I didn't comment on your topic!

Well here is my comment!

I like the building nice BUT I see a lot of blue bricks!  I hope alot of them will be underground?!?!  I dont like blue bricks! I know you have to have 3 courses but I prefer the ones with hint of red in them blends them in a bit with the rest of the building.

nope, the blue go about 8-900mm high. I only put the roof on thats it for me. The blues step in where the polythene is. There is about 200ton of backfill to go in yet

Boy, your building is a lot bigger than the building that I just finished last week.

Dean, nice work.

Its good to see a traditional hand cut roof & no trusses.  I lot of young guys nowadays don't know how to hand cut a roof.  What make of framing square do you use ?  I have a Smallwood & find it very easy to use.

Thanks for the pics, Woodguy.

i use a 12" empire speed square and as for young uns im 27 so all is not lost. I was working with a 57 year old who said i've never seen a roof cut like that before, i"ll be using those techniques next time

Well, nice work.  Young guys up here would not know where to start with summit like that.  The young guys i am talking about are 19 or 20 years old, just out of there apprenticeships so i suppose you have a few years on them  ;).  Is it a house ?  Quite large if it is.

Woodguy.
