Hi Guys
So I finally finished my custom build bed sapele and walnut, probably two of my favorite woods for right now,
Wife is really happy  [big grin].
I saw build on Wood whisperer  similar desin and I really liked it, so with some design changes I build this one,
I used Natural oil Kunos Livos  I aplyed about  6 coat on it.  I oiled  all parts before assembly and last coat after assembly.

Really a beautiful bed.  Nice color also.  You should be proud of this project

That is very nice. I am sure your wife is thrilled [emoji16]

Nice job.  Nice detailing on the tops of the posts, nice proportions on the head and foot board.

How did you attach the footboard to the rails?

[thumbs up]  Nice bookmatching on the left footboard panel.  Did you resaw the board, or just get lucky with the woodstack (the other ones don't look similarly book matched, which is why I ask)?

Some serious skills there. Nice work. How did you cut the slight arc in the top horizontal rail? Bandsaw? You would need a 30 foot radius to cut that with a router.

I made a template from 1/4 mdf plywood    than I glue it to the rail with hot glue gun and use the router table
