custom carbon fiber zero clearance plate for kapex

I made it from scrap pieces i had from my carbon titanium diffuser project (2nd one. i bought festool to modify car parts before wood. Ive already researched and made precautions of cutting cf. once cf goes airborn and if you can smell it then its in your system and will stay in there. also its not the cf that causes the itch but its the hardener that gets into the skin and irritates it.

heres some photos from my previous project.  Its been thru some thick cuts about 3.6mm so im surprised the stock blade still has its edge.

That's cool man, CF accents on a car are cool...  Are you using some kind of glue or epoxy to mate the pieces together?  My project was nothing compared to that: just a simple wrap of existing parts.

thanks, i used silicone just to keep the sheets together and epoxy the edges to keep the moisture out before the fibers fray.
