I'm guessing this might be the better place for this Q - but I've got some SYS Rails that I'm going to use in a cabinet build and only need 300mm - what's the best/cleanest way to cut them? Miter saw? Band saw? Domino?

When I was at a show and wanted a guiderail cut, a Festool rep just placed it on the Kapex and made the cut using whatever wood blade was on the saw at that time.

Thanks. I ended up just using the bandsaw. Took my time, no burn. Turned out great!

And the Domino, you know. That's just: Because... [laughing]

Pretty much anything will cut it, but that's not necessarily the nicest thing.
Jig saws and reciprocating saws would be a little rough, and bandsaws would be restrictive to length.
A sliding miter saw, sliding table saw, or a cross-cut sled, would be best. Hold it down with a piece of wood, to reduce the possibility of it catching the thin area.

That all sounds a bit dramatic, but there is a bit of a technique involved. If you go to slow/timid at it, you can get "chip weld" on the teeth, which causes galling. Not good but going to quickly (brutal chopping) is not good either.
