Pretty much anything will cut it, but that's not necessarily the nicest thing.
Jig saws and reciprocating saws would be a little rough, and bandsaws would be restrictive to length.
A sliding miter saw, sliding table saw, or a cross-cut sled, would be best. Hold it down with a piece of wood, to reduce the possibility of it catching the thin area.
That all sounds a bit dramatic, but there is a bit of a technique involved. If you go to slow/timid at it, you can get "chip weld" on the teeth, which causes galling. Not good but going to quickly (brutal chopping) is not good either.
