Hi,
I have recently acquired the new CXS cordless drill and happily put it to good use in a house refurbishing project. Last night I realized to my great dismay that none of the tool holders (Centronic, drill chuck, right angle Centronic) closed properly on the drill. The empty Centronic chuck would click on fine, but then the bitholder refused to go all the way in (and vice versa).
Since I could not imagine that a Festool drill could develop such a fault, I started visualizing what I had actually done during the day. Suddenly it dawned upon me - I had had to reach into a very deep and narrow spot when remounting a pair of loudspeakers close to the ceiling and I had extended the long drill bit with a couple of additional bit holders, both of the cheap home-store type. One of them no longer offered any magnetic holding effect. The magnet must have come loose and stuck to the male part of the other bit holder and I must have transferred it into the tool stub of the drill, thus reducing the depth of its hole and preventing the click-click function.

I then put a tiny drop of superglue on the offending bit holder, inserted it into the drill, waited a few minutes, pulled and there it was!
I had to share this story with you.
