Thank You, what do you think about the price for the full kit £209.00 + vat is very competative
It is. As I've said before, if there was an eccentric/offset chuck available it would be more tempting (in fact, I'd have one already!). I'm still thinking about getting one at some point, but I may save up a bit more & go for one of the EC-Tec drills...
Aren't the chucks interchangeable i.e. wouldn't the eccentric/offset chuck from (say) a C12 fit? I'd agree that the price for the full kit at £245 inc VAT is competitive compared to the £186 inc VAT of the basic drill (only 60 quid more but you get another battery and the angle chuck) but compared to other 10.8v kits (
here or
here, say) it doesn't fare so well. They're different animals I suppose - do you want a drill/driver that does everything, or several more specialised tools using a common battery - but I do wonder who the target market is; @ RCF - are the buyers existing Festool drill owners looking for a 'cheap' extra drill/driver to augment the collection, or relative newbies perhaps picking up their first new Festool? Just curious.
Cheers, Pete
