decent deals on WERA multi bit Screwdrivers at Amazon

I have the second one and love it. What you can't see in the Amazon listing is that the shaft comes out of the handle completely to be used as a power driver. So, you've got stubby, normal and power driver all in one. I call it my BatDriver...with the belt pouch it looks like something Adam West would have had on his BatBelt.

The Amazon listing is for one with PoziDrive tips, which are sometimes hard to come by in the U.S., but essential if you have PoziDrive fasteners. The one I have has a more common mix of #1 and #2 Phillips, square drive, and slotted. Great thing about Wera's tips, is you can mix and match them as you see fit for where you're using the BatDriver.

I’m with Jeff on that second Wera driver, 051024 Kraftform, was one of my first Weras.  I have the stubby version also. I had the 056491001 Tool-check plus set and gave it to my daughter.  The 05051030001 pistol grip Kraftform , and the 051040001 set has the longer 3” bits.  The driver in this set is not ratcheting so I replaced the driver with the ratcheting one. Wera tools are fantastic.  I have many of the Joker wrench offerings as well.

I got the KK 25 set.

The quality is very nice, as I was expecting.  However, I am thinking of returning it.

The problem I am having is that it is hard to remove or lower the bit extension.  I found I have to rotate the little ring to go down enough to be able remove or lower the bit extension.  No rotation is needed to raise the extension.

I can't tell if that is the normal operation, or the one I received is defective.    Is this normal?
