Not a video, but som pics might help.
Here’s two different length fasteners. Longest is about 40mm.
[attachimg=1]
Here’s the torx bit protruding after I made an approximate adjustment for the depth.
[attachimg=2]
Same position with the screw attached, you can “read” how deep the head will sit.
[attachimg=3]
3 screws driven in, no pre-drilling, C18 drill set in 1 st. gear in drilling mode (no electronic clutch)
2 different length of the screws, as in the first picture.
[attachimg=4]
Chuck with collar removed. The chuck instantly stops the bit when depth is reached. You only hear a “click” and the chuck actually disengages the bit. The bit actually stays in the screw head, but at standstill, all happens in a split second.
[attachimg=5]
Screws unscrewed, you see the depth the self countersunk screws left in the wood (here an over 100 yrs old half piece of dry log timber)
[attachimg=6]
The times I’ve used this chuck, it has amazed me. It’s perfect for those repetitive jobs when driving screws you want to set with a good finish.
