Thank you! Quiet today so I plopped your STL into Cura and have it printing now. Probably get a chance to fiddle with it tomorrow, will provide feedback.

FYI mine is for my larger DW618 plunge base, not the DCW600 like Bob's. And my model is incomplete, pretty much have just been testing the hole positions so far which is why it's only 1mm thick. I can repost something once I finish it, but especially if you have the smaller router [member=60461]Bob D.[/member] 's design probably makes more sense!

Update: I have been working on my adapter design and it is very close to ready. Maybe today after I make one more tweak and add a new feature which grew out of a suggestion here that I think I will be able to incorporate.

I will be testing with other compact routers as I get access to them to be able to test. Currently it has been tested with the DeWalt DCW600b and the Porter-Cable 450PK. These are both 1.25HP compact routers, with more features than  smaller, 65mm body trim routers like the Makita RT701C.

Next up is testing with the RIDGID and the Milwaukee compact routers.

These are the compact cordless models I know of, are there
other models that people have interest in seeing support for?

Many will say why go to the trouble if you already have the OF1400. Because it's a challenge and I think using the lighter cordless DeWalt will be nice.

For me its about ease of setup.  I absolutely hate wasting time setting up and swapping routers for different tasks.  When your spending 5-600 per router to leave one setup for a particular task is just not feasible. If im only spending 100-150 its easy.  I was even going to get a 2nd LR32 base plate to have one router for 5mm and one for hinge cup holes.

That is exactly my thinking and why I have so many. I still had to get an OF1010r in the preorder que though, originally thinking I would sell off the older one.....who was I kidding? This way I can pretty much keep the older one set up in the way that I use it most and leave the new one as the floater for whatever random thing happens. It might be nice to have a router for every bit, but even I think that's overkill. I have quite a collection of bits too, in 5 different shank diameters ??? 
Nothing dedicated to the LR32 though? I do have the basic plate set, just as an emergency thing, but not the entire kit. I have only had to use it once in the last year or so.
