DF 500 R Domino release date for the US? I’m going to buy one in March/April time frame.

At best you'll hear rumor here as Festool and FestoolUSA are very coy about even acknowledging different tools exist outside of North America, much less confirming when that tool may come here.

You can always go to UK or Germany and buy it there. Just end up with a charger that doesn't work in NA

Tbh, I found the whole system over-complicating what the original DF500 is designed to be.

What caught my attention was the after-market support bracket, which seems to be different from the Bigfoot:

The Domino Base Support is a good one, as shown by Peter Millard.

Most Domino users should buy the TSO Bigfoot or the Benchdogs Domino Base Support. I have the Bigfoot and love it.

Also, Peter Millard said the Domino Base System is complicated, and applicable to a smaller set of Domino users.

I think Peter Millard demonstrated all of that via non-public videos to the members of his 10 Minute Workshop Plus.
