Does CXS Drill hold onto ball detent hex bits well?

I was just curious if the CXS held onto quick-change 1/4" hex drill bits without wobbling while drilling?

If you're using ball detent bits, you should use them with the keyless chuck which comes with the drill. Doing so, it would be no more prone to wobble than any other drill. While it's possible to use a wire ball detent bit inserted directly into the drill without a chuck attached, or even in the magnetic bit holder in the Centrotec chuck, it's not recommended.

Hey Shane,
Why is it not recommended to use a wire detent bit inserted into the drill?  Performance or possible damage to the drill?
Thanks,
Jess

Typo on my part. I've corrected it. I meant to say ball detent is not recommended in the magnetic bit holder or directly in the drill. The reason is there's not much support for the shank.
