So  finish up plowing a bunch of dominos in a Cabinet I was making.  I am a big fan of the Seneca Domiplate and as I was removing the thumb screws to remove the Domiplate I noticed as I was unscrewing one of thumb screw is became harder and harder to unscrew it.  I had to put some channel locks of the screw to remove it.  When I finally removed the Domiplate I noticed something had worked it's way out of the hole - it looked like a helicoil was inserted into the hole so screws can tread into the hole.  So I grabbed it with some pliers and it came right out without really trying too hard.  Anybody else experience this with their Domino???

This does happen but not frequently...but it's still frustrating never the less. [mad]

You can send it back to Festool or install a new Heli-Coil® yourself.  I prefer to install a new Heli-Coil® as I can secure it with red Loctite.  I don't believe Festool Service will use the red Loctite.

A quick note to others, don't crank down on the connecting screws, just tighten them so they hold the accessory firmly. This helps alleviate the condition.
