Domino DF500 retro conversion

I have a new DF500 with the paddles on the face plate. Is it possible to get these converted to the pins like the original DF500. I am UK based. Thanks  Geoff

Like Alan said, you can buy the older style fence, but it's rather expensive as I recall, about $250 US.

Nope they don't fit in the previous holes to reference off.

That's a shame , it was something to do with copyright as the mafell doweller had the same pins if I remember rightly.

No it doesn't it still has paddles just smaller metal ones and more of them.

I don't know if they are called paddles or pins but on my DF700 the paddle / pin is 5mm x 6mm and will register down to 5mm slots on any of it's 6 points. The DF500 paddles are 7.3mm x 14mm and won't register with a Domino slot. Geoff

What about using the cross-stop (498590). It has got pins and is adjustable.

Cross-stop gives you wings!    So kinda get in the way plus they are further away from the cutter so you can't have the next domino as close to each other like if u had the old domino with pins.

Yes I do use the cross stop and it's really good, but the pins are fairly spaced out, even at their minimum setting. It would be great to have the pins on the body / fence as well.
