Thanks for providing the link! This is one of those elegant but useful solutions I love to see.
The author, stevemaskery, has a few other good videos. I just checked out "A variety of pushsticks from my workshop." I love the cheeky nature of his productons.
Here's my favorite quote from the pushsticks video, where he describes his improved version:
"I make them as if they were a proper tool. They are not just some tatty bit of stock with a notch cut in that happens to be kicking around the workshop."
