Drilling Terrazzo Floor in a church

Hello, I am researching drilling holes in a Terrazzo church floor to reinstall the pews after refinishing the floor.  Does any one have any suggestions how to approach this project.

Are you anchoring to the slab underneath?
If so you can use a diamond bit spraying it down with water,  followed by a masonary bit into the slab.

You could use specialist tile drill bits - these have a x-form point like a harpoon.

I tend to use hollow diamond bits and cool with water as suggested above. I used a 10mm bit to drill through ceramic tiles into concrete slab below to anchor the structure for a patio bar.

I do not have to anchor to the slab.  I am setting pews in place.  What type or brand
of diamond drill bit would you suggest.  The hole should be 12 mm in diameter.

I have used Sutton Tools diamond tile bits in the past. The ‘harpoon’ type I have seen others use was by Smith & Arrow.

You being in the US, your best bet is Milwaukee or Starrett. Used both, whichever is easier to obtain.

What type of anchor do you plan to use.

Since you've stated you need a 12mm hole you must know what you're going to use to anchor the pews.

How deep do need to drill?

What is the connection to the legs or base of the pew.

Without knowing answers to those questions how can an informed suggestion be made.
