So,I have a new to me,cxs coming and was thinking about another drill to go with it.
I have a hitachi 14v impact that I LOVE,but need a drill also.
The impact is a square drive(non Jacobs chuck),so it's a pain sometimes finding drill bits.
The cxs will handle the small stuff like door knobs and light drill needs,so what is the thinking for another
drill?
I am going to have 3 drills at that point. T-15?
Thanks,
Chuck

A CXS is a very impressive drill. It is narrow enough that it doesn't need the offset chuck. Nice to get the kit with the right angle.

The T-15 is much bigger and nice when you need more power. I don't see the point of the T-18 as it has too much power to not have a place to add a side handle.

The square drive impact is for sockets to drive nuts and bolts.

I think you should live with the CXS for a while and then see if you need an additional drill that is larger. You will probably be surprised at the CXS.

I have a bigger impact/drill,just thinking another Jacobs chuck type drill is needed.
I agree about the 18v,just a bit to big,at that point,I will just plug one in.

I have had the CXS for a year and use it everyday, but have yet to use it as a drill. I compliment mine with an original model c12 for all drilling. You should go to a brick and mortar store for the drill selection as the weights definitely vary as they get more powerful. Once you hold the CXS you will think every drill is heavy. For the everyday remodeler, installer, built in guy the c12 is enough power. The CXS is the best thing that happened to drills in a long time, you will be psyched, Eric
