Dust collection setup questions

I'm reviving this thread to ask for some follow up advice on upgrading my grizzly + Dust Deputy system with a filter:

The bag attached to the Grizzly allows fine particles to escape, and so the other side of my garage/shop that gets used for storage is constantly coated with a thick layer of dust.  So I want to attach a filter to the system to replace the bag.  The question is which one.  In one of the pics posted in this thread by Fogger [member=61571]X[/member], you'll see a fairly short filter with a bag on the bottom:

When I go to the Wynn, site, they recommend for a cyclone system a taller 13F filter:

Which you can see an illustration of here:

I'm curious about a couple of things.

1.  Why in the picture does one of them have a bag but the other doesn't?  Is the bag optional/extra?  Presumably, I could also add a filter pan to the bottom of the 13F in place of the bag, as described in this Stumpy Nubs video.

2. What is the difference between what [member=61571]X[/member] has and the 13F filter?

3. The gasket for the 13F filter is 11.25 ID -- how then do I mate the exhaust port of the Grizzly with the filter?

Filter on the Grizzly is rated at 1 micron, whereas I believe the MERV 15 on the Wynn filters is better than that, if I'm reading the conversion chart correctly:

Easiest way is to sell your old unit and upgrade to this unit.https://www.grizzly.com/products/Grizzly-1-HP-Wall-Mount-Dust-Collector-with-Canister-Filter/G0785

If you don't want to do this then you can try and get the parts from Grizzly and make some sort of adapter plate.
