I have a ct26 and use a Jet 1hp dust collector in my makeshift work area for the table saw and Miter saw. My question involved collecting the dust from exotic woods. I am looking for a way to collect the dust from exotic woods I cut separately from the normal spruce and pine cutting. Short of changing a bag every time do you all have any suggestions? I can then use the particular cut wood dust in epoxy as filler for inlays and very very small areas. Thanks for any thoughts. I am certain to get a lot of suggestions for the ct separator I think and it just might be the best way to go. Most of the small stuff will be cut on the band saw or by hand. By hand is easy to collect but the larger machines are more difficult and the finer dust seems to generally make its way into the bag. I may just get stuck using some dust from hand sanding chunks because trying to find an inline solution to catching the dust may be an unreasonable idea.
