I have an opportunity to pick up a domino 500 in 110v from.uk. What are the pitfalls from a NA standpoint? Registering? Service? Etc?

The speed range will be a little faster too.  Also if something breaks you may need to ship it overseas for service unless you want guff from NA service.  Dunno, but I've thought about it since I bought a Festool from UK myself.

Festools service is worldwide. Buy a saw at the northpole and make the service at the southpole, no problems!
If your dealer dont registrer your product, you can register by your self by Festtool.com and your account.
Thats the way it works in Sweden, guess its the same everywhere!?!

The warranty will not apply. Different voltage and electronic etc

We recommend only using a tool in the country that it was purchased in. Tools are often customized for that specific country. The warranty will not apply if you use it outside of its intended market.
