The question has come up about links to external sites. I thought this is s good time to explain the simple rules we have here. The rules for the FOG are more lenient than many other forums, where external links are routinely deleted no matter what their origin.
Here, I try to have a simple, but more nuanced, external-link policy:

Here, I try to have a simple, but more nuanced, external-link policy:
- Links to external sites are permitted if they are designed to inform members about material relevant to Festool and related tools
- Links to external sites are permitted if they are informational or recreational and help members get more engaged in the forum community
- Links to external sites are not permitted if the administrator (or moderators) of the FOG cannot confirm the target of the link
